while it started as a blog about my foray into the world of knitting (thus why all the earliest posts are knitting related)...it's now to be a catalog of my various creative, well, escapades - from knitting to cooking to graphic design to... whatever else comes up that i need a creative solution for - and the lessons i'll inevitably learn from them. fun times! (oh and i reserve the right to on occasion go off topic. i'd not be me to never go off topic and i'd be remiss if i didn't warn you...)

practice practic practice
not much to report... the first method of knitting i tried was the continental method which is holding the yarn in your left hand. needle w/ work on it starts in the left hand and the knitting moves it to the right needle, then you switch. i decided to take a look at the English method and for it, you hold the yarn w/ the right hand. It kinda seems a little easier, but I haven't given up on the first yet. So, currently I'm in a bit of a holding pattern, just working on the actual knit stitch for now. havne't yet made my way to that darn glossary yet...maybe this weekend... we shall see.
